Great value! We stayed for one night on our way home. The site is well-maintained. The online booking and check-in processes were easy to follow. They have brand new washroom with modern designs. Great river review and is close to everything. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely return next year!
Really super nice, the pitches are adorable and well spaced apart from each other (for the unserviced tents at least).
The beach is a 3-minute walk away. It was su-per
We stayed in a tent for one night and enjoyed our stay. The campsite was intimate and there was a level place to pitch the tent. The toilet blocks are new and very, very clean! I recommend it 😊
Clean & Modern
From the very pleasant check in to the helpful advice, what was to be an overnight stay turned into 2 nights. Clean and well maintained it is surprisingly quiet for grounds that are so centrally located in the downtown area. Well done and recommended.
Update: just finished our 14 day Atlantic Canada trip, and this site has the nicest facilities of all the places we stayed.
Amazing location, walkable to the upscale restaurant next door - accessible to beautiful sunset views. Walkable to the waterfront park and cafe. This is our first camping trip, and the place was clean - showers and washrooms. Showers had good temperature water....they were lockable private shower stalls with benches. Very quiet area too....we slept so well with the windows open, and the smell of campfire from the neighbors. The lady that checked us in was super nice, and bilingual. We were sad to leave, will be back soon!
Camp here. Very central yet awesomely secluded
The Municipal Camping Ground of Rivière du Loup is awesome. It was a bit tricky to find because we saw another camping ground along the water (which was horrible), and thought this was it. Don't be fooled! Go up the road and you'll find the municipal camping ground. We slept in a tent in our own little spot in the forest. Each tent has a little bit of privacy from the tents around it. There's electricity so you can power up your electronics. It's worth stopping here on your way to Gaspé
Very nice campground. All the roads are paved. All the restrooms and showers are new and very spacious.
Even the sites are paved.
Beautiful views of the St. Lawrence River and Île aux Lièvres.
There's a rustic camping section for nature lovers.
Great welcome, great scenery, great walk along the sea. The pitches without services are great and a little hidden so for us, perfect.
Delightful easy camp spot while traveling
We have a lovely view over the water. The sites are level and full service. The WIFI is excellent. The grounds are well kept. The staff is friendly. Conveniently located to a lovely little town. This is a great oasis! Check out the restaurant reviews for some fine dining.
A great stop-over with easy set-up for trailers and RVs
An excellent campground for a quick stop along highway 20 in Quebec. The campground is neat and the sites are reasonably well spaced, and each has a paved pad angled from the road to make parking trailers and RVs a breeze. Sewer and water hook-ups are well located. At the end of a long day driving, it is a pleasure. There is a nice park along the shore of the St-Lawrence River a short walk from the campground, and town is a short (3 minute) drive. There are a few fast food places nearby, but there are better choices if you drive into town where there is plenty of convenient free parking. The Bistro L'Intercolonial is very good. The campground staff are very helpful and can suggest restaurants to suit what you are looking for. This is not a place for a long stay - but great for a night or two. It is a good base to visit the area - it is not a place where you spend your days in the campground itself.
Very beautiful and clean campsite, very nice showers, washer dryer, warm welcome, we will return, it's official.
